After breakfast we depart for our tour of Agra Fort. Shah Cihan was imprisoned here by his eldest son Lemgir in his last days and spent the last 8 years of his life in his room overlooking the Taj Mahal which will make him immortal all over the world. After our castle tour, the Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, considered the largest and most beautiful love monument in the world, built by Emperor Shah Cihan to commemorate his wife Mumtaz Banu Begum, whom he loved with great love and lost during childbirth. There is also an Ottoman influence in this structure, where 22,000 workers labored for 21 years and 1,000 elephants were used to transport the light, thin, blue-veined white marble. The main dome was designed by İsmail Efendi with the help of Master Jesus in the general design. The structure in which many verses from the Quran are included in the embroideries inside and outside. With its dome and minarets at its four corners, it is symmetrical whichever way you look at it. Taj Mahal, which turns pink at sunrise, white at noon and golden in the moonlight, reflects the mood swings of Mumtaz Mahal with this feature. We then visit the palaces, mosques and forts 40km west of Agra built by Emperor Akbar in honor of his son’s birth in 1569, meaning ‘City of Victory’, as well as the architectural structure of the desert city of Fatehpur Circus, which opened 14 years after his construction was abandoned for political reasons. Diwan-I am, Diwan-i Khas, Pachisi, Jodha Bai Palace, Mariam Palace or Golden Room (Sunehra Makan), Birbal Palace, Wind Palace (Hawa Mahal), Panch Mahal are among the places we will see. At the end of the tour, we will transfer to Jaipur. We will be transferred to our hotel in terms of dinner and accommodation at our hotel.
