Tour Plan
With our scheduled flights from different places in Europe, we arrive at Adana airport and meet our guide who is waiting for us there. Then we start our tour with our private bus. We visit the Sabancı Merkez Mosque in Adana. After visiting this magnificent building, which opened for worship in 1998 and is considered the largest mosque in the Balkans and the Middle East, we pass the historic Stone Bridge, the landmark of Adana, one of the largest cities in our country, with just a short walk from the banks of the Seyhan River. Free time we provide for you to take photos, taste Adana’s local delicacies and shop at your leisure. Afterwards we drive to our hotel. After the roaming and registration process, overnight at our hotel.

After our breakfast we move to Hatay, according to our inheritance we reach Antakya, the center of Hatay province where religions and languages live like brothers, the capital of tolerance and respect for different identities and the city of the Olympic Games in Roman times, passing through the Belen Pass. After the Antakya Panoramic City Tour, we will have our lunch with a menu flavored with various and delicious appetizers of Antakya cuisine. We would like to remind you that Künefe (Turkish sweet) belongs to this city. We visit the HATAY Museum, the second largest mosaic museum in the world. After our museum tour we will visit the world’s first cave church St. Pierre. Afterwards we will visit Habib Neccar Mosque, this is the first mosque built in Anatolia containing the tomb of Yahya, Yunus, Şem’un-ı Sefa and Habib-i Neccar mentioned in Surah Yasin. After visiting the Mosque we will start with a walk through the streets where we will see the old Antakya houses. We visit the catholic and orthodox church (if they are open for visitors we can see the churches). Then we enter the Long Bazaar, which makes us forget about the modern state of Antakya. After that, you can go shopping or taste the specialties of Hatay cuisine at the free time we give you here. After meeting again we go to our hotel where we will stay overnight. After breakfast at our hotel, we start our journey towards Gaziantep, the city of Gazi, which is also called the Paris of the East. In our Gaziantep trip, we will see Gaziantep Castle whose exact construction date and civilization is unknown. It has many underground tunnels and has been preserved to this day. We see the statues of our ancestors who played a very important role in the Liberation War and after and visit the museum that keep their memories alive. You will then have free time to explore Antep’s famous Coppersmith Bazaar and this bustling historical city, tasting local delicacies and shopping. Then we move on to our hotel for overnight stay.

After our open buffet breakfast at our hotel, we make our way to Şanlıurfa. Before arriving in Şanlıurfa, the city we think of when we say Raw Meatballs, Hot Peppers, Lake Balıklı, Plain of Harran, the City of Prophets via the Historical Silk Road – Viranşehir, we start our tour with Harran, the most popular one District of Sanliurfa. Here the Harran hill which first existed at a height of 22 meters in the middle of Harran city, the Great Mosque of Harran, the oldest mosque built in the Islamic period in Turkey. Here the first Islamic Madrasa (Harran University) was established in the courtyard of Anatolia. We visit and leave one of Harran’s famous conical domed houses. Next we see the “Göbekli Tepe Sanctuary” which is the apple of the eye of the world archaeology, the zero point of history and contains the world’s first known temple. On our way we will then stop in the town of Halfeti, which was partially flooded after the construction of the Birecik dam. On our approx. 1.5-hour boat tour on the Euphrates we see the “Greek Castle”, cave houses and the “Savaşan Village”. We take photos and tea break in Savaşan village which has been the scene of many TV series and commercials. Then our return is Halfeti where we started with our boat. After our tour we drive to Şanlıurfa. “We see Halil Rahman Lake, Balıklı Lake, Ayn-ı Zeliha Lake, Makam Mosque named after Prophet İbrahim, Rızvaniye Mosque, Mevled-i Halil Mosque and Cave , where the Prophet İbrahim was born. After breakfast we set off for Mardin with the explanations of our guide. There you will see the “Old PTT Building”, an old Armenian mansion, in Mardin. You will walk through the famous Abbaras, which offer historical bazaars and archways between the streets, and the famous “Ulu Grand Mosque” with its minaret, which is believed to be built from the 11th century and is currently being restored. From here we will visit the Latifiye Mosque. Afterwards, depending on availability, we will visit one of the most important centers of the Syrian community worldwide, as well as the “Mor Gabriel” or “Dayrulzaferan Monasteries”, which can be considered architecturally unique. After our free time, we will pay a visit to “Kasımiye Madrasa” built by 15th century Akkoyunlu ruler Sultan Kasım.

After leaving our hotel in the morning, we make our way to Diyarbakır, the largest city in the east. After our arrival we start our tour. We see the house where Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı, known for his poem “35 Years Old”, one of the most important names in our literary world, was born and now serves as a museum. This house is also one of the finest examples of Diyarbakır Civil Architecture. We will visit the Diyarbakır Grand Mosque built in Anatolia, one of the oldest mosques in the history of Islam currently under restoration. We see the Goat Bastion, the oldest of the Diyarbakir walls, which is known to have a history of 9000 years, the date of construction and the civilization that built it are unknown. After our tour finishes in the city walls, our panoramic city tour of Diyarbakır continues by our bus. We will see Hevsel Gardens and Gazi Mansion after the historic “Ten Eyed Bridge” over the Tigris. After our tour we move into our hotel and set ourselves up.

After breakfast in our hotel in the morning free time for a full day. Our guests can, if they wish, join the “Batman – Midyat – Hasankeyf” tour with lunch, which is organized as an extra. (EUR 40 per person)
We leave Diyarbakır and start our tour in Batman, another big city in the east, which is about 1 hour away. After our drive here, our next stop is the famous “Malabadi Bridge”. After a photo break and explanations, we arrive at Hasan Keyf, one of the first ancient settlements. After our free time to visit Hasankeyf Castle, Secret Water Tunnel, El Rızık Mosque Minaret and Caves, we will share in the sadness of Hasankeyf brought to life by the Tigris River on which it has been situated since Built thousands of years ago, but was submerged by Ilı Su Dam and Tigris River. We take a drive to Midyat, one of the most important settlements of the Syrian community that forms the heart of the Tur Abdin region. After breakfast at our hotel, we make our way to Erzurum. We will visit Yakutiye Madrasa, Üç Kumbetler, Double Minaret Madrasa and Ulu Mosque on our city tour which we will visit upon arrival in Erzurum. When Erzurum is mentioned after these visits, one of the first flavors that comes to mind is Cağ Kebab, which occupies a very important place in Turkish cuisine. do for lunchen we take a break in a suitable restaurant. Then we end our tour with a visit to Taş Han where we can see and shop the famous Oltu Stone and its artifacts, especially Oltu Stone Prayer Beads. Overnight stay in our hotel.

After breakfast we make our way to Trabzon. We arrive at Altındere National Park, which is under protection in the Maçka district of Trabzon. This journey that we will take observing the great beauties of nature along Coşandere will be crowned with the appearance of Sümela Monastery. v. We go to the monastery of Sumela (Virgin Mary), founded in 386 by two priests from Athens, Barnabas and Sophronius. After finishing our amazing tour here with our guide’s narration, we board our bus and set off during Komnenos Kingdom to start our city tour in Trabzon.We turn to Hagia Sophia Mosque, which was built during the Ottoman period and converted into a mosque. After listening to the magnificent frescoes of Trabzon’s Hagia Sophia from our guide, we visited the Atatürk Mansion, which Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK saw and liked when he visited the Soğuk Su neighborhood when he first came to Trabzon, and was donated by him to the Trabzon Special Administration and stayed in Trabzon for the third and last time. To end our visit, we will visit the Silver Workshop to learn about Trabzon’s famous SILVER KAZAZİYE, WIPER and TELKARI art and learn about this deeply rooted craft. Afterwards we drive to our hotel for overnight stay.

After completing this amazing tour with our guide’s narration, we take our bus and head towards Çaykara and disembark to Uzungöl from here. Uzungöl, located at an altitude of 1090m above sea level, leaves behind the beauty of the Alps with its steep slopes and magnificent forest cover. Located in the middle of the valley, the lake was formed by the rocks falling from the slopes blocking the Haldizen creek and is known as “Uzungöl”. The area received the same name. Especially the old wooden houses of the nearby village “Şerah”, built in the local style, complement the beauty of nature. After our tour around Uzungöl, the most famous lake of the Black Sea, we reach Sürmene, the most famous handicraft district of the region. We drive to Memiş Ağa mansion in Sürmene. After our free time to buy products such as chestnut/flower honey, local cheese, butter and cornmeal made in the Black Sea highlands and forests, we will learn about the stages of Sürmene knives, where thousands of years of handicraft culture. She has reached a universal dimension and we will have the opportunity to buy Sürmene knives. After our purchase prices we grab the tea picking scissors and enter the tea garden, collect tea and take souvenir photos. With the presentation accompanied by the teas on offer, we have the opportunity to learn on the spot much that we do not know about tea and we have the opportunity to buy May Tea, which is very difficult to find in national markets.
