Tour Plan

Operating our scheduled flights via Istanbul from different points of Europe, we meet with our travel companion at Adana Airport. Then we leave the airport as a group and go to our private vehicle that is waiting for us. And our Master Chef Gourmet Anatolia Tour starts without slowing down. Upon arrival in Adana city center, our first stop is a visit to one of the most delicious restaurants in Adana, where we can enjoy an excellent dinner. After a nice evening taste here we return to our vehicle and reach our hotel. After our check-in at the hotel, overnight stay at our hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we will leave our hotel for our city tour of Adana. Our first stop is the Stone Bridge over the Seyhan River, a magnificent work of Roman times, the oldest stone bridge still in use in the world. After the photo break that we give here, we will visit the Adana Sabancı Central Mosque which has become the symbol of the city and fascinates its visitors with its grandeur and splendor. Then we continue our route from Adana, as one of the gastronomic centers, to Hatay, where very different tastes and aesthetics of our country’s cuisine are presented together. We have the opportunity to visit the Hatay Archaeological Museum and the Saint Pierre Church. Then proceed to Hatay Long Bazaar. Here we walk through the bazaar with our guide and visit the Habib bin Neccar Mosque. After visiting the bazaar and historical cultural sites with the explanations of our guide, we will get in our vehicle and drive to our hotel where we will stay overnight. We gather in the lobby at the time our tour guide gives for dinner and have dinner in one of the mansions that has a place in the stone houses of Hatay where the flavors of Hatay cuisine are served.

After our breakfast at the hotel, we make our way to Gaziantep. Gaziantep is one of the most curious cities in Southeastern Anatolia, also called the Paris of the East. On our journey through the heart of Çukurova, we will follow the Ceyhan-Osmaniye route and listen to the story of Ceyhan Yılan Kale from our guide. We visit the Gaziantep Zeugma Mosaic Museum which is one of the largest mosaic museums in the world and where valuable archaeological artefacts are exhibited along with the mosaics excavated from the ancient city of Zeugma. Gaziantep, located on the Silk Road, has a rich culinary culture as it has been home to various cults and civilizations throughout history. We start by exploring Old Antep, an open-air museum with Ottoman-era buildings. In this context, we take photos of Gaziantep Castle (Ayıntap) that adorns its hilltop like a pearl and listen to the heroic story of Antep from our guide who won our Atatürk’s recognition and praise thanks to his great example of resistance during the national struggle. Then we make our way into the heart of the old town, past centuries-old inns and baths. After our pleasant visit to the Turkish Bath Museum, where we will meet those who are curious about the deep-rooted bathing culture of Gaziantep.

In the bazaar area, we see famous handicrafts of Antep such as mother of pearl, marquetry, wire breaker, coppersmith and Yemeni manufacture. Then we will see Almacı historical bazaar where products of local cuisine such as spices, winter dried fruits, peanuts and tomato paste are for sale. In the free time we have here we can shop for local products; In the historical Tahmis coffee, you can taste the famous Menengiç coffee, which is unique in the Southeast. After the tour we go to our hotel and move into our rooms. After resting for a while, we go to Gaziantep Culinary Arts Center where world famous chefs of Turkey are trained to enjoy our gastronomic dinner. After dinner we stay overnight in our hotel.

After having our breakfast as open buffet at our hotel, we say goodbye to Gaziantep and move to Halfeti, a town of Şanlıurfa on the banks of Euphrates river. We will see the historic Greek Castle and Savaşan Village, which is associated with the Bau of Birecik Dam by boarding our boat waiting for us on the Euphrates river bank in Halfeti old town, surrounded by pistachio trees and known only for the “Black Rose” that grows here in Anatolian geography. We take a leisurely boat tour. Then we turn our route to Şanlıurfa, the city of Prophets, and

We go to our restaurant where we can taste the traditional dishes Urfa kebab, liver kebab, lahmacun, Lebeni and Bostana. In Şanlıurfa, one of the oldest cities in Mesopotamia, there are Lake Balıklı (Halil ül Rahman Lake), Ayn-ı Zeliha Lake, Rızvaniye Mosque and the cave where Abraham was born belongs to the destinations we will visit. After our tour we will have a short shopping break at the historical bazaar and then continue to Harran district of Şanlıurfa. Here we see the remains of the world’s first Islamic university and observatory tower, as well as the conical domed houses that attract attention with their unusual architecture. After examining the features of the Harran houses built in traditional architecture, we mingle with the people of the area and take our photos in traditional Urfa clothing. Then we move to our hotel and move into our rooms. * After a short break, you can participate in “Sıra Night” reflecting the ancient traditions of Urfa, which your guide organizes especially for our guests. After breakfast at our hotel, we drive to Gobeklitepe, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, which has become famous as the most exciting archaeological discovery in recent times and as the oldest ritual center in the world, has changed our knowledge of human history. After our visit here, we turn to Mardin, known as the Cradle of Civilizations and Wonderland with its rich history, unique architecture characterized by traditional stone villas and multicultural environment. After our lunch break, we will taste traditional dishes such as stuffed ribs, sembusek, kibbe and tandoori in Mardin, the pearl of the Mesopotamian plains, the fusion point of different cultures. We continue to Deyrul Zafaran Monastery, where we can learn about the ancient culture of the Assyrians, one of the most important peoples of Mardin’s cultural mosaic. Located 4 km outside the city, the monastery took its current form in the 18th century through the additions made at various times from the 5th century and is still actively used by those of the Syrian region. After visiting this place in the company of a local guide, we continue to Old Mardin, one of the most curious tourist destinations of the South East, with its multicultural environment with beautiful stone buildings, churches and mosques in the same street, in its maze-like streets that from “Abbaras” are shadowed. On our walking tour that we will take here, we will first shop for local almond candy, nuts and coffee at Artuk Bey’s shop. Then we will visit the Grand Mosque of Mardin, a magnificent Artuqid heritage, and have a shopping break in the narrow streets of the historical Kayseriyye Passage, where you will find traditional copper products, types of soap, colorful cloths and traditional trousers (shalwars). Continuing our tour, we will visit Kasımiye Madrasa built during the reign of Akkoyunlu Kasım Bey, one of the most impressive historical buildings of Mardin and in a position overlooking the Upper Mesopotamian plain. After our tour we go to our hotel and move into our rooms. After a short rest we leave our hotel for our dinner organization. We get an unforgettable meal at Murat Cercis Mansion, the first name that comes to mind when Mardin cuisine is mentioned in Turkey. Overnight stay in our hotel.

After enjoying our open buffet breakfast at our hotel, our first stop is the Midyat district of Mardin, formerly known as Matiat, which mesmerizes the onlooker with its intricate art and honey-colored stone villas adorning its narrow streets. Here we visit a shop in Gümüşçüler Bazaar for delicate shopping and then continue as part of the walking tour to Midyat Guest House, also known asMansion where the TV series Sıla and Hercai were filmed. After taking our photos on the terrace overlooking Midyat, we say goodbye to the guest house and Midyat and continue to Hasankeyf, the historic district of Batman, recently submerged under the water of Ilısu Dam. After our Hasankeyf tour, after our lunch break where we will taste traditional dishes in the center of Batman, we head to Diyarbakır. After our visit of Diyarbakir Grand Mosque, Cahid Sıtkı Tarancı Museum, Hasanpaşa Inn and Inner Castle, we will go to our hotel where we will spend the evening. We gather in the lobby at the time indicated by our guide and make our way to the restaurant where we will have our dinner. Overnight stay in our hotel.

After our morning breakfast, we board our vehicle and set off for Adıyaman. We will have lunch at our restaurant on the dam, which is known as a place of joy. After crossing the Cendere Bridge, after a short rest, we reach Kahta. While our vehicles are waiting for us in the center of Kahta, we will first visit the Karakuş Timilusu and then the Cendere Bridge. By entering our vehicle, we grant access to the Arsemia ruins. At the sculptures and at the cave entrance in Arsemia we listen to the explanations of our guide. From here we will board our vehicle and watch the sunset on Mount Nemrut, located at an altitude of 2150 meters and listen as our guide informs us about the Kingdom of Komagene and the statues found. After sunset, we return to our vehicle and make our way to our hotel. Overnight stay in our hotel.
