Tour Plan
By operating our scheduled flights via Istanbul from different points in Europe. We meet with our travel companion at Adana Airport. Then we will take a private bus to our hotel where we will stay overnight. After our check-in at the hotel, overnight stay at our hotel.
Accommodation: Adana
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we start our Adana tour with narration from our guide. We visit the Sabancı Merkez Mosque in Adana. After visiting this magnificent building, which opened for worship in 1998 and is considered the largest mosque in the Balkans and the Middle East, we pass the historic Stone Bridge, the landmark of Adana, one of the largest cities in our country, with just a short walk from the banks of the Seyhan River. After the photo break that we will give, we will meet at our vehicle to set off towards Hatay town. Upon our arrival in Hatay, we arrive in Antakya, the center of Hatay Province, where religions and languages live like brothers, is the capital of tolerance and respect for different identities. After the Antakya Panoramic City Tour, we will have our lunch with a menu famous with various and delicious appetizers of Antakya cuisine. We would like to remind you that Kunefe (a Turkish sweet) belongs to this city. We visit the HATAY Museum, the second largest mosaic museum in the world. Our next stop after our museum tour is the world’s first cave church, the Church of St. Pierre. We visit Habib Neccar Mosque which is the first mosque built in Anatolia and contains the tomb of Yahya, Yunus, Şem’un-ı Sefa and Habib-i Neccar mentioned in the Surah Yasin. After visiting the Mosque we will start with a walk through the streets where we will see the old Antakya houses. We visit the catholic and orthodox church (if they are open for visitors we can see the churches). Then we enter the Long Bazaar, which makes us forget about the modern state of Antakya. Then we meet and go to the hotel where we will spend the night. After the room procedure, we will spend the night in our hotel.

After our breakfast in the morning we move towards Gaziantep. Upon our arrival in Gaziantep we will visit the Gaziantep Castle, whose exact construction date and civilization is unknown. The castle has many underground tunnels and has been preserved to this day. You will then have free time to explore Antep’s famous Coppersmith Bazaar and this bustling historical city, tasting local delicacies and shopping. Then we move on to our hotel for overnight stay.

After our open buffet breakfast at our hotel, we make our way to Şanlıurfa. On our way we stop in the town of Halfeti, which was partially flooded after the construction of the Birecik dam.
On our additional 1.5 hour Euphrates River Cruise we will do here, we will see the “Greek Castle”, the cave houses and the “Savaşan Village”. We will have a photo and tea break in Savaşan village which has been the scene of many TV series and commercials. Then is our return to Halfeti where we started with our boat. (extra tour)
Before arriving in Şanlıurfa, the city we think of when we say Raw Meatballs, Hot Peppers, Lake Balıklı, Plain of Harran, the City of Prophets via the Historical Silk Road – Viranşehir, we start our tour with Harran, the most popular one District of Sanliurfa. Here is the Harran hill which first existed at a height of 22 meters in the middle of the city of Harran. The Great Mosque of Harran, the oldest mosque built in Islamic period in Turkey, the first Islamic Madrasa (Harran University) founded in Anatolia in its courtyard, historical walls and Harran one of the famous conical domed houses of Harran we will also visit. We leave Harran and visit the “Göbekli Tepe Sanctuary” which is the apple of the eye of the world archaeology, the zero point of history and contains the world’s first known temple. After our tour we drive to Şanlıurfa. “We see Halil Rahman Lake, Balıklı Lake, Ayn-ı Zeliha Lake, Makam Mosque named after Prophet İbrahim, Rızvaniye Mosque, Mevled-i Halil Mosque and Cave , in theProphet İbrahim was born. As a panoramic view, we visit Urfa Castle, Sipahiler, one of the historical bazaars, and Hüseyinciler. Free time after a tea break at Gümrük Han, which you may know from the film Eşkiya. After our Şanlıurfa tour, we go to our hotel.

After breakfast we set off for Mardin with the explanations of our guide. We visit the “Old PTT Building”, an old Armenian mansion, in Mardin
We see the famous “Great Mosque” with its minaret, which was probably built in the 11th century and is currently being restored. From here we will visit the Latifiye Mosque. Depending on availability, we will then visit the “Dayrulzaferan Monastery”, one of the most important centers of the Syrian community worldwide and architecturally unique. After visiting “Kasimiye Madrasa” built by Akkoyunlu ruler Sultan Kasım in 15th century, we meet at the end of our free time and go to our hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel you will have free time for a whole day. Our guests can join our extra tour “midyat with meal” organized by our tour guide. (40 EUR per person) We start our tour from Deyr-ul Umur (Mor Gabriel) Monastery, which is built on a high hill 20 km outside of Midyat. After visiting the Church of the Virgin Mary, the Dome of Thedora, the Central Church, the Baptistery and the House of the Saints, accompanied by the monastery guides, we will end our visit to the monastery with the wonderful photos we will take and move on idil We visit the cave village located within the borders of İdil district and known among the people as Kivex which was the Ezidi village until recently. After visiting the abandoned houses, which are designed not to block each other from the sun, and the caves, which are now disused and were once used as living quarters, we will see interesting tombstones after our walk in this unique settlement that looks like a ghost village at the village cemetery, and the sun and peacock reliefs and continue to Midyat city center. We take a walk through the streets of Midyat, which is known from the TV series Sıla and is still home to many TV series and movies. We visit Midyat Guest House, one of the finest examples of stone carving houses in Midyat, where the TV series Sıla was filmed. In the guest house we take a photo break after the stories of our guide. We look at the Gasthaus Gelüşke and take our group photos, which are among the classics. After the free time we give you, we will return to our hotel to see the Telkari workshops, one of the first that come to mind when Midyat is mentioned, and do some shopping.

In the morning after breakfast at the hotel we set off for Diyarbakır. After our arrival we start our tour. We see the house where Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı, known for his poem “35 Years Old”, one of the most important names in our literary world, was born and now serves as a museum. This house is also one of the finest examples of Diyarbakır Civil Architecture. We will visit the Diyarbakır Grand Mosque built in Anatolia, one of the oldest mosques in the history of Islam currently under restoration. We see the Goat Bastion, the oldest of the Diyarbakir walls, which is known to have a history of 9000 years, the date of construction and the civilization that built it is unknown. After our tour finishes in the city walls, our panoramic city tour of Diyarbakır continues by our bus. We will see Hevsel Gardens and Gazi Mansion after the historic “Ten Eyed Bridge” over the Tigris. After our tour we move into our hotel and set ourselves up.

In the morning after breakfast in our hotel, the rooms are cleared and the check-out procedures are carried out. Then we meet and drive to the airport together.
